On Saturday 29th February we are hosting a Bake-off style fundraiser at 2.30pm. This is in aid of Traidcraft Exchange and is part of our Fairtrade Fortnight celebrations. if you like to bake, bring along your 'signiture bake' and then turn judge and taste all the other bakes. If you're not a baker but like cake then just come as a judge and enjoy tasting and scoring the bakes entered. Entry as either judge or baker is a donation to Traidcraft Exchange. Please let us know if you woukld like to take part.
On World Book Day (5th March) we are having a visit from children's author Amy Scott Robinson at 3.30pm. Author of the Gladstone the Gargoyle trilogy, Amy will be reading from her books and giving a talk with her Gargoyle puppet. She will also be signing copies of her books purchased on the day. The event is aimed at children from 6-9 years old (accompanied by an adult).
