The Big Church Read
Have you heard about the "The Big Church Read"? It is an online church book club where you can read a book along with hundreds of other Christians with video support from the author! You can take part in this as a whole church, a small group or an individual. If you sign up to take part you'll be sent regular email updates on the books, a reading plan and links to the videos. There is a forum on the website so that if you are taking part as an individual you can still discuss it with others - this could be a great thing to do under current restrictions and beyond for both individuals and housegroups unable to meet in person.
The next book being featured is Jeff Lucas's new title "Singing in Babylon" about the life of Daniel, which starts on 17th february, in time for Lent. Also running through the whole year is "Choose Life" by Simon Guillebaud, which is a book of daily readings for "Radical Disciples". Later in the year the fantastic "How to Pray" by Pete Greig will also be featured.
